Well Dunn Catering Review

We worked with Ric at Well Dunn for our recent wedding, and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our reception was held in a venue that had never been used for a wedding previously, and they handled everything perfectly. The food was fantastic, and we had guests telling us all night long they had never had better food at a wedding. We had a sit-down dinner, and the service was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend Well Dunn, we received quotes from several well-known DC catering companies and Well Dunn had both the best menu selection as well as the best pricing. Would use them again in a heartbeat!

Le Bernardin Review

There is a reason Le Bernardin is ranked as nyc's top restaurant: perfection. Nothing at Le Bernardin is left to chance or is done in a half-assed manner. We ordered the Le Betnardin tasting menu $145pp without wine pairings). Worth every penny. every piece of fish was beautiful and flavorful. Not once did anything smell fishy, which did happen at Esca, another high-end seafood place. Perhaps its the fact that Eric Ripert is actually on site most nights? Whatever the reason for LeBernardin's amazing performance doesn't matter. All that matters is that dining here is an experience like no other. You need to dine here at least once in your life. there are minimal non-seafood options.

K's Kitchen Review

My husband and I love to go to K's Kitchen. It is our favorite Japanese restaurant and is close to our house. The service is always great, the food is excellent and the eclectic music and decor enhances the meal. We always order the Veggie Dragon roll (with pumpkin, eggplant and avocado), Albacore Tataki and Wakame salad. There is usually something new to try, as the K brothers are very inventive! We enjoyed it again last Saturday evening and have been going there for a few years now and look forward to next time!

Bar Crudo Review

Looking to go to Happy Hour & eat Raw Seafood? Here's your spot! Cute hidden small restaurant in the Divisadero Corridor neighborhood. The HH menu consists of $1.00 Oysters to Mussels, Chowder, Fish tacos, Manila Clams, Soft shell crab and specialty drinks. Service was awesome, very attentive and pleasant. We ordered 10 Miyagi Oysters, Steamed Manila Clams and two orders of Gruner Veltliner, Pratsch "Rotenpullen" wine. Results? Hot like fire!!! The oysters were amazing!! yes the perfect aphrodisiac lol Check out my pictures as you will find it real sexy. The Manila Clams are not my cup of tea only because it was my first time eating them. Acquired taste I might say, but my friend enjoyed them. We could of ordered more but we were going to another venue for dinner. I will defiantly come back for dinner next time.

Elsy's Restaurant Review

The staff here is very friendly and you can tell that they care about their product and the people that eat it. They have reasonable prices and have great friendly service. The pupusas here are really good, but what I enjoy the most here is the Salpicon. Salpicon is a dish where beef is cut up into a million tiny little pieces and has a lemony flavor, and is served with sides of rice and beans. Most restaurants (and my mother) put the beef in a blender and let it shred the beef for what seems like hours. This method sucks the flavor out of the beef and you end up getting dried meat--ELSY'S does not do this! Their meat tastes great. If you are coming here get pupusas, of course, but also try the salpicon. It is really good here.
